BAHRAINS Royal Endurance Team, led by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, clinched the bronze medal in the World Endurance Horseride Championship at the Terengganu International Endurance Park in Malaysia.

Members of Bahrains Royal Endurance Team returned to kingdom yesterday after their successful stint in the World Endurance Horseride Championship in Malaysia.

The Bahrainis clinched bronze in the event, which concluded on Saturday.

His Majesty King Hamad yesterday honoured members of the Bahrain Royal Endurance team, Muharraq soccer team and the bodybuilding team for their success in recent international championships. The endurance team, led by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, came third overall in the World Endurance Championship in Malaysia, Muharraq soccer team took the AFC Cup title while the bodybuilding team clinched one gpld and two silver medals in the World Championship held in Bahrain. Present were Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Supreme Council for Youth and Sports president Shaikh Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Isa bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Goys president Shaikh Fawaz bin Mohammed Al Khalifa and senior officials.  >>> Details

BAHRAINs Royal Endurance Team continued their preparations for the World Endurance Championship scheduled for Friday at the Terengganu International Endurance Park in Terengganu, Malaysia.

BRAZILS Pedro Cunha and Alison Cerruti clinched the Bahrain Open title last night with a straight-sets victory over Frances Kevin and Andy Ces at the Al Fateh Corniche.
